All of our dogs at Sturgeon Creek Kennels undergo all health testing prior to breeding. This testing includes eyes, cardiac and OFA certifications. We adhere strongly to the breed standard and breed only to other health tested and proven dogs. We breed for conformation with a strong emphasis on hunt drive and natural ability. All of our dogs live in the home with us. They are only kenneled when the family is away from home. All of our dogs are hunt trained and tested through NAVHDA, UKC or both. It is our belief that you can have a truly beautiful dog that possesses superb hunting ability. Let's face it, life is too short to hunt behind an ugly dog.
